Birmingham City secure half-season loan for Watford's Lloyd Dyer

Birmingham City sign winger Lloyd Dyer on loan from fellow Championship side Watford until the end of the season.

Birmingham City have signed winger Lloyd Dyer on a half-season loan from fellow Championship side Watford.

The 32-year-old heads to St Andrew's after making just four league starts for the Hornets since a summer switch from Leicester City.

Last season he had his best-ever scoring campaign in the second tier, netting seven times to help Leicester to the league title and promotion.

Dyer, who was born in the second city, will wear the number 40 for the Blues and could make his debut against former club West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
