Preview: Norwich City vs. Birmingham City

Sports Mole previews Birmingham City's trip to Carrow Road to face the in-form Norwich City in the Championship.

Birmingham have not won in their last five outings in the Championship, and face an uphill battle as they take a trip to the in-form Norwich City this weekend.

Lee Clark's side were unable to challenge Sheffield Wednesday in their 2-0 defeat to the Owls during the week, which was their second defeat in three matches, and leaves them 20th in the table.

Grant Hall missed their last outing because of the groin injury that he picked up last weekend, but there is a chance that he could be ready to return this weekend.

Meanwhile, Norwich will be full of confidence heading into this match, having taken more points than any other Championship side from their last six matches.

A comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford in midweek leaves the Canaries just a point behind league leaders Nottingham Forest.

Wes Hoolahan's availability for Saturday's match is in doubt as he needs to undergo a scan to determine the extend of an ankle injury that he picked up earlier this week, but Russsell Martin has returned to training after missing the trip to Brentford with a back injury.

The two teams last met during the 2008-09 season, when both of their matches ended in 1-1 draws.
