Lee Clark: Grant Hall has "slight groin strain"

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark confirms that Grant Hall suffered a "slight groin strain" in their Championship match against Leeds United at the weekend.

Lee Clark has revealed that Grant Hall should not miss too much time after sustaining a "slight groin strain" while in action for Birmingham City at the weekend.

The defender, who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, was forced off at half time during the team's 1-1 draw with Leeds United in the Championship.

The manager told the Birmingham Mail: "It is just a slight groin strain. There is an outside chance he could be OK for Norwich on Saturday. He won't be available for Sheffield Wednesday, which is a shame.

"I think him and David Edgar have been one of the strong points of the group, since the start of the season. But we have got cover in those areas, Paul Robinson, our captain, who came on, Will Packwood and young Josh Martin.

"Jonathan Grounds can play in at centre-back, as he showed very well at Notts County in pre-season. So we have got possibilities to cover that position."

Birmingham currently sit 20th in the Championship table.
