Bayern Munich executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirms that Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will depart the German outfit at the end of the season.

Bayern Munich executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that experienced midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will depart the German outfit at the end of the season.

The Ukrainian, who joined the club from Zenit St Petersburg in 2009, has made 23 appearances this season but the majority of those have come from the bench.

Rummenigge told the club's official website: "Tymo has told us he will be leaving our club. He will be looking for a new destination himself and will do so after the German Cup final against VfB Stuttgart."

It is not yet clear whether the 34-year-old will look to remain in Germany.
