Javi Martinez has said that a place in Spain's Euro 2016 squad is his main aim following a return from injury.
The former Athletic Bilbao defensive midfielder made just three appearances for current side Bayern Munich last season, but is now determined to be in Vicente del Bosque's plans for next summer's tournament after returning to action last month.
"The Euros is my aim. I hope to be there again with Spain," he told reporters. "I feel strong again. I'm still not 100%, but I'm nearly there."
Martinez signed for Bayern in August 2012 after the club met his €40m (£29.4m) release clause at Bilbao, and has previously won the 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euros with Spain.
