Preview: CSKA Moscow vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole previews the Champions League fixture between CSKA Moscow and Bayern Munich.

CSKA Moscow's attempt to qualify for the knockout rounds of the Champions League will get no easier on Tuesday evening when they host Bayern Munich.

The Russian outfit were thrashed 5-1 away at Roma on matchday one, but five successive wins on the domestic front may give them confidence ahead of the visit of the German champions.

Alan Dzagoev could be included after netting at the weekend, while Seydou Doumbia is expected to come back into the side after scoring two from the substitutes' bench on Saturday.

Bayern have so far failed to hit top gear in the final third during the opening six weeks of the campaign, but their defence has kept five clean sheets in a row.

Pep Guardiola's side have also put together an eight-game unbeaten streak, which included a 1-0 victory over Manchester City earlier this month.

Winger Xherdan Shaqiri could be handed a start in Moscow in place of Juan Bernat, but Guardiola is expected to keep changes to a minimum.
