Michael Ballack heading for Australia?

Former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack could reportedly sign for Australian outfit Western Sydney Wanderers.

The 35-year-old, who has also played for Chelsea and Bayern Munich, is currently a free agent after leaving Leverkusen in the summer.

According to Sky Sports news, no official contract talks have taken place, but a meeting between the two parties is expected this week.

Ballack scored 42 goals in 98 caps for Germany.
