Barnet striker Jake Hyde has revealed that he was happy to get off the mark with two goals against Chester last weekend.
Hyde scored twice in 10 second-half minutes to help his side to a 3-0 victory, but the former Dundee frontman has insisted that he has not given himself a figure to reach before the end of the season.
The 23-year-old told the Harrow Observer: "It's a lovely start for any centre-forward. I want to score goals, but the most important thing this season is that the team are getting up the table so if I can help that in any way by scoring goals, I want to do that."
"I never put a target on it because I don't want to put a limit on it. Last season, I never had a target and this season is going to be the same.
"I just want to score as many goals as I can and just take it game by game."
Hyde netted 16 goals for the Bees last season, despite their relegation from League Two.
