Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be "at the front of the queue" to sign Barcelona centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo this summer.
The 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Everton and Leicester City in recent months, spent last season on loan with Schalke in the Bundesliga and is not thought to be in the plans of new Barca boss Ronald Koeman.
According to Sport, the Catalan club are looking to raise transfer funds by offloading players and view Todibo as a "clear asset", valuing him at between €20m (£17.8m) and €25m (£22.2m).
The newspaper says that Wolves are now the frontrunners for his signature as manager Nuno Espirito Santo looks to strengthen the heart of his side's defence, having been forced to play Romain Saiss and Leander Dendoncker in his back three at times last season.
The news comes a day after the Midlands outfit broke their transfer record to sign highly-regarded Portuguese striker Fabio Silva.
French youth international Todibo, meanwhile, has been with Barcelona since January 2019 but has been restricted to just five senior appearances in that time.
