Javi Martinez reportedly wants to depart Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old joined the German outfit from Athletic Bilbao in 2012 and played a key role in his first season as Bayern picked up an unprecedented treble.
However, the Spanish international has struggled to find his best form this season and he has been left on the bench for the majority of the big matches under Pep Guardiola.
According to Bild, Martinez has directed his agent to inform the Bayern board that he wants to depart the Allianz Arena this summer.
Barcelona are believed to be monitoring proceedings.
