Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde concedes that he is "tired" of the constant speculation surrounding Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has admitted that he is "tired" of the constant speculation surrounding a potential move for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar.

The Brazil international has been constantly linked with a return to Camp Nou in recent weeks, although it is thought that the Spanish champions have now abandoned their pursuit.

Neymar is said to be prepared to mend his relationship at the French champions if a switch is not completed before the European transfer window closes on September 2.

The speculation is expected to continue ahead of Monday night's deadline, though, and Valverde has conceded that he is looking forward to the end of the window to rest from the constant transfer talk.

"I am looking forward to the end of the market and resting," Valverde told reporters. "On a scale of 1-10 on the subject of Neymar, I'm tired at 9.5!"

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for the South American this summer, although neither Los Blancos nor Barca have been able to agree a fee for the former Santos youngster.
