Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong is reportedly keen to join Barcelona in this summer's transfer window.
Last month, it was claimed that Barcelona would wait until the summer of 2019 to sign the 20-year-old, who scored once and registered nine assists in 26 appearances for Ajax last term.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, De Jong is keen to leave Ajax ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, and has already approached his Dutch club over a transfer.
The report claims that Spanish champions Barcelona would have to pay in the region of £22m to sign the Netherlands Under-21 international.
De Jong, who is believed to be a transfer target for a number of European clubs, joined Ajax from Willem II in 2015.
