Barcelona are reportedly planning a summer approach for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.
The 24-year-old has again been a vital player for his Dutch club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 37 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and four assists in the process.
Martinez still has more than three years left to run on his current deal, but a recent report claimed that Barcelona viewed the Argentina international as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique.
According to Culemania, the Catalan giants are keen on a summer move for the defender, who has been capped on six occasions by his national side.
The report claims that one of Martinez's agents has been actively 'looking for a flat in Barcelona', with a move likely to take place in the upcoming market.
The South American, who is also capable of playing at left-back and in central midfield, has featured on 120 occasions for Ajax since making the switch from Defensa y Justicia in 2019.
