Sports Mole looks at how Valencia could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Valencia will be without the services of key defender Cristhian Mosquera for Sunday's clash with Barcelona.

Mosquera is regarded as one of the best young defenders in La Liga, with Real Madrid said to be among his admirers, but he will not take on Hansi Flick's side this weekend due to a suspension, having picked up a milestone yellow card against Real Sociedad last time out.

Yarek Gasiorowski - another of Valencia's excellent young talents - is expected to be the player to benefit, with the defender set to come into the starting side as his replacement.

Mouctar Diakhaby and Thierry Correia are both injured, meanwhile, but Los Che have not reported any fresh fitness blows, and it is expected that head coach Carlos Corberan will name the majority of the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Real Sociedad considering the strength of the performance.

Hugo Duro has scored six times in 17 appearances for Valencia during the 2024-25 campaign, and the Spaniard will once again feature in the final third of the field on Sunday night.

Diego Lopez, Andre Almeida and Luis Rioja are also in line for spots in the forward areas, with Fran Perez and Sergi Canos expected to be among the attacking options left in reserve.

Max Aarons has joined the club on loan from Bournemouth, and he will be bidding to make his debut in this contest.

Valencia possible starting lineup: Mamardashvili; Foulquier, Tarrega, Gasiorowski, Gaya; Guerra, Barrenechea; D Lopez, Almeida, Rioja; Duro
