Brazilian football legend Pele thinks that Neymar will improve as a player at Barcelona, readying him for next year's World Cup.

Brazilian football legend Pele has said that Neymar's move to Barcelona will provide the youngster with good experience that will improve him as a player for next year's World Cup in Brazil.

It was revealed on Saturday night that the 21-year-old had chosen to join La Liga champions Barca in a five-year deal from Santos.

This evening Pele tweeted his best wishes before adding: "I am confident that @FCBarcelona will provide great challenges and experiences which @Njr92 will bring with him to Brazil in the World Cup."

Neymar has scored 20 goals in 32 appearances for the national side.
