Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has 'congratulated' Arda Turan on his move to Barcelona this summer.
Turan swapped the Vicente Calderon for the Camp Nou earlier this month after revealing a desire to take the next step in his career.
Juanfran has said that he has no hard feelings over his former teammate's departure, and has called the Turkish international "a great friend".
"I know that Arda was excited about playing for Barcelona so I congratulate him and wish him well because he's a great friend," Juanfran told reporters.
Turan will be unable to represent Barcelona in a competitive match until January, when the Spanish club's transfer ban comes to an end.
