Andres Iniesta: 'Comeback is not impossible'

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta insists that his side are capable of overturning a four-goal deficit against Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

Midfielder Andres Iniesta has insisted that a Barcelona comeback against Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup is not "impossible".

On Friday night, the Catalan giants were thrashed 4-0 at the San Mames Stadium, but Iniesta believes that his team can overturn the deficit in the second leg at Camp Nou.

The 31-year-old told the club's official website: "From the first minute, we leave thinking we can turn around the tie.

"It's complicated but it is not impossible. We must believe we can do it. We made many mistakes and we have been penalised with a heavy loss. When things do not go your way you have to improve and not let it happen again."

Iniesta was introduced into the action on 52 minutes but he was unable to make a difference as Bilbao proceeded to score three more times.
