Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has said that the Catalan giants are "entering a new season with lots of excitement and positivity" as they look to make it "a historic year for the club".
The Blaugrana reclaimed the La Liga title from Real Madrid last term, in addition to retaining the Copa del Rey title.
Ernesto Valverde's side have already claimed the first trophy of the Spanish season, meanwhile, having beaten Sevilla in the Spanish Cup on Sunday night.
"We are entering a new season with lots of excitement and positivity," Marca quotes Bartomeu as saying. "Last season was a magnificent one for the club – we lifted our seventh league title in ten years and won the domestic double, this season we aspire to go one step further.
"It was important to start with lifting the Spanish Supercopa against a team (Sevilla) who had already played competitive games this season.
"Lionel Messi is now the player with the most titles in Barcelona's history, but everyone has the hunger to keep winning more. We want this to be a historic year for the club."
Barcelona will start their La Liga title defence at home to Alaves on Saturday night.
