Paco Alcacer has admitted that he is still coming to terms with being at Barcelona after joining the Spanish champions in the latter stages of the summer transfer window from Valencia.
The 23-year-old made his debut for the Catalan giants in their 2-1 defeat to Alaves last weekend, but was not involved in the 7-0 victory over Celtic in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Spain international has said that he "could not believe it" when he learned of Barcelona's interest and he is "very happy and excited" to be part of Luis Enrique's team.
"I could not believe it [when Barcelona wanted to sign me]. Playing for such a big club is the absolute maximum. I am very happy and excited to be here," Alcacer told the club's official website.
"At first I could not believe it because it can be very overwhelming when such a big club is interested in signing you. Barcelona are a very demanding club and our objectives are very clear."
Alcacer scored 15 times in 40 appearances for Valencia last season.
