Barcelona full-back Adriano has revealed that he had the chance to leave the club during the summer, but opted to fight for his place at Camp Nou.
The versatile Brazilian defender is behind the likes of Dani Alves and Jordi Alba in the pecking order and claimed that other teams were interested in him.
Inside Spanish Football quotes Adriano as saying: "This summer I received offers to leave Barca, but I have always made it clear that I intend to stay here.
"[Competition] is good for the team, it means we always have to be attentive and at 100%. Everything has changed since the new players arrived, and they have all added to the feeling of desire among us.
"They have come here because they want to win titles, and that's good for us all."
