Two teams that have made encouraging starts to the new La Liga season will lock horns on Saturday afternoon, with Athletic Bilbao welcoming Cadiz to San Mames.
Athletic are fifth in the table, collecting seven points from their opening four matches of the 2023-24 campaign, while Cadiz occupy sixth, also on seven points from their first four games of the season.
We say: Athletic Bilbao 2-1 Cadiz
Cadiz deserve huge credit for their solid start to the season, but Athletic will be the favourites here on home soil. Inaki Williams and Nico Williams could cause serious problems to the away side, and we are backing the Basque outfit to navigate their way to all three points at San Mames.

Valencia vs. Atletico (Saturday, 3.15pm)

One of the biggest fixtures on the La Liga calendar will take place at the famous Mestalla Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with Valencia welcoming Atletico Madrid.
Valencia are currently 11th in the table, picking up six points from their opening four matches of the new season, while Atletico are fourth, boasting seven points from three games this term.
We say: Valencia 0-1 Atletico Madrid
Atletico were stunning against Rayo last time out, and while we are not predicting a similar outcome here, the capital giants should have enough quality to secure another three points against a Valencia side that have been disappointing in their last two matches.

Celta Vigo vs. Mallorca (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Celta Vigo will be bidding to make it back-to-back wins in Spain's top flight when they continue their 2023-24 campaign at home to Mallorca on Saturday afternoon.
The Sky Blues recorded a 3-2 win over Almeria ahead of the international break, while Mallorca played out a goalless draw with Athletic Bilbao in their last game in La Liga.
We say: Celta Vigo 1-1 Mallorca
There has only been one draw in the last five La Liga meetings between these two sides, but we are predicting the points to be shared on Saturday. Mallorca's first win of the season will come sooner or later, but Celta are certainly good enough to avoid defeat in front of their own supporters.

Barcelona vs. Betis (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be bidding to make it four La Liga victories in a row when they welcome Real Betis to Camp Nou on Saturday evening in one of the standout matches in game week five.
The reigning champions have picked up 10 points from their opening four matches of the season to sit in third position in the table, while Real Betis are seventh, boasting seven points from their first four games.
We say: Barcelona 2-1 Real Betis
This has the potential to be a very tricky match for Barcelona, and we would not be surprised to see a draw on Saturday. The Catalan outfit are on a roll at the moment, though, and with Yamal and Felix potentially featuring alongside Lewandowski in an exciting front three, we can see the home side winning this one.
