Athletic Bilbao will reportedly be without the services of key duo Mikel Rico and Ander Iturraspe for Friday's Spanish Super Cup first leg against Barcelona.
Neither midfielder took part in Bilbao's training session on Monday morning and are not expected to be considered for the first leg this week.
Inaki Williams did take part in Monday's session, but is also expected to miss out alongside long-term absentee Iker Muniain.
Kike Sola, however, has returned from a knock and could start in attack alongside Artiz Aduriz.
Bilbao will hold three more training sessions this week before facing the European champions at San Mames on Friday.
