Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Dynamo Kiev

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev.

Barcelona will be looking to make it three victories from three Champions League matches this season when they welcome Dynamo Kiev to Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

The Catalan giants have beaten Ferencvaros and Juventus in their opening two European fixtures to sit top of Group G with six points, three clear of second-placed Juve.

Ronald Koeman's side are stuttering in the league at the moment, though, picking up just eight points from their opening six fixtures to sit down in 12th spot in the table.

Here, Sports Mole runs through Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Kiev, who have collected one point from their two Champions League games this season.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 4 (vs. Dynamo Kiev)

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is yet to feature for Barca this season after undergoing a knee operation in August. The Germany international is now back in first-team training, although it would be a surprise to see him named in the starting XI on Wednesday night after a relatively long period on the sidelines.

Samuel Umtiti

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Samuel Umtiti, who was strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou over the summer, is yet to feature this season due to ongoing knee problems, and he will also miss out against Dynamo Kiev.

Philippe Coutinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Barca were without the services of Philippe Coutinho against Juve and Alaves due to a hamstring problem. The Brazil international played the full 90 minutes of the recent Clasico, but the issue was confirmed by Barca the following day, and he is now set to spend at least the next couple of weeks on the sidelines.

Ronald Araujo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Ronald Araujo was forced off at the interval against Juve on Wednesday after picking up a hamstring problem in the first half; Barca could now be without the central defender for the next month or so.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barca have no players suspended for Wednesday's Champions League clash. Gerard Pique missed the fixture with Juve through suspension but is available for this match.
