Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic expecting tricky Copa del Rey final

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic says that his team will need to be at "100%" to overcome Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final on Sunday night.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has insisted that his team will need to be at "100%" to overcome Sevilla in the 2016 Copa del Rey final on Sunday night.

The club, who have won the Copa on 27 occasions, will enter this weekend's final as the favourites to claim a domestic double following their La Liga success last weekend.

Sevilla won the Europa League for a third successive year on Wednesday night, however, and Rakitic is expecting a tough test against his former club in the Spanish capital.

"When you're in a final, you have to be at 100%, no matter what. It's one game, you have to come out firing on all cylinders. Nobody gives you anything," Rakitic told reporters.

"We have to go out and play hard. We respect Sevilla, we know they'll play as hard as they can as well. Knowing their team and their coach, I know they prepare their games to the finest detail.

"It's a final against a great team but we have to have a lot of confidence. We've had some tough games this season but we're going to come out battling. It's the last game of the season - there's no better way to do it."

Rakitic, 28, represented Sevilla between 2011 and 2014 before making the move to Camp Nou.
