Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has backed striker Luis Suarez to return to his prolific scoring form of old following a barren run in front of goal.
The 30-year-old has managed just three goals in 11 appearances for the Catalan club this term, the most recent of which came five games ago against Atletico Madrid.
Suarez's struggles continued on Tuesday night as he failed to net from any of his seven shots in the goalless draw with Olympiacos - the most he has had in single game without scoring for Barca.
Valverde has defended his under-fire forward, though, telling reporters: "I like this version of Suarez a lot and sometimes the goal depends on one more centimetre to the left or to the right.
"I like that they have chances to score. The success or not will come. I liked the team."
Suarez bagged 28 goals in La Liga alone last season, putting him behind only teammate Lionel Messi in the scoring stakes.
