Report: Pedro to start in place of Neymar

A report claims that Pedro will start in place of Neymar for Barcelona's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino has reportedly decided to bench Neymar in favour of Pedro for tonight's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou.

Neymar has been favoured by Martino in the big matches this season, with Alexis Sanchez and Pedro both spending time on the sidelines in recent months.

However, according to Marca, Martino will go with a front three of Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Pedro this evening, leaving Xavi, Cesc Fabregas and Sergio Busquets to occupy the midfield.

Pedro has scored 18 times in all competitions this season, while Neymar has 14.
