Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Atletico Madrid.
Cavani has just entered his sixth campaign at the French giants, with a total of 173 goals being scored from 233 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Uruguay international has allegedly grown frustrated with his role at Parc des Princes, and according to Sport, Atletico have taken an interest.
The report claims that Diego Simeone would like to form a front three of Antoine Griezmann, Diego Costa and Cavani in a bid to challenge for the La Liga title.
Cavani has less than two years remaining on his contract, and PSG could potentially be open to cashing in on the 31-year-old due to their ongoing issues with FFP.
