Antoine Griezmann has vowed to use the disappointment of back-to-back final defeats as fuel to 'make him stronger'.
The 25-year-old was part of the France team that lost the Euro 2016 final to Portugal on Sunday night, following on from Atletico Madrid's defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the end of May.
The Frenchman has admitted that "it sucks" to lose two straight finals, but insists that he will 'become stronger' in the long run.
"Losing a second final [in two months]... it sucks. Still, these defeats will make me stronger," Griezmann told reporters.
Griezmann was named the Player of the Tournament at Euro 2016 after finishing the competition with six goals and two assists.
