Report: Aston Villa to sign Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison

Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison, formerly of Manchester United, is reportedly on the radar of Championship side Aston Villa.

Ravel Morrison has emerged as a transfer target for Aston Villa, according to reports.

The former Manchester United and West Ham United midfielder is currently at Serie A outfit Lazio, though he appears to have failed to settle in Italy.

Villa owner Tony Xia posted a tweet saying that the Championship side are looking to sign a midfielder, prompting media outlets including the Birmingham Mail to suggest that Morrison is the player concerned.


Morrison has recently followed the West Midlands club, as well as their goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, on Twitter, adding to the speculation.
