Arsenal's hierarchy have reportedly decided to hand Arsene Wenger a £20m budget in the January transfer window in an attempt to boost the team's chances of success.
The Gunners were busy throughout the summer as they signed the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Danny Welbeck, but he will get another chance to enter the market if he believes that areas of his squad must be strengthened.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are not in a position to come close to matching the fees they have spent on Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in recent transfer windows, and are instead hoping to secure deals for one or two players.
Recent reports have suggested that Wenger is considering making a move for Benfica forward Anderson Talisca.
