Denis Suarez and Arsenal reportedly come to an agreement on personal terms, leaving just Barcelona to sign off on the transfer.

Arsenal have moved a step closer to signing Denis Suarez after agreeing personal terms with the Barcelona midfielder, according to a report.

The Gunners have been working hard to get a deal over the line for the one-cap Spain international, who has previously worked under Unai Emery at Sevilla.

Barca are believed to only be interested in a permanent transfer, but Arsenal do not have the funds to sign the 25-year-old and want to take him on an initial loan deal.

Spanish outlet Marca claims that an agreement has been reached between the North London outfit and Suarez, leaving just Barca to green light the move.

Suarez has been restricted to 17 minutes of playing time in La Liga this season after falling out of favour under Ernesto Valverde.
