Petr Cech 'to undergo Arsenal medical today'

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech's move to Arsenal could be wrapped up this weekend, with reports suggesting that he will undergo a medical later today.

Petr Cech will undergo a medical at Arsenal later today ahead of sealing a £10.9m switch from Chelsea, according to a report.

The Premier League rivals are said to have agreed on a price for the Blues goalkeeping legend, which will see his 11-year stay in West London come to an end.

Cech, who had to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois for the majority of last season, is expected to complete his Arsenal move in the coming days.

BBC Sport claims that the final pieces are now being put in place, with today's medical the last step before the transfer is complete.

Former Gunners shot-stopper Bob Wilson believes that the signing of the 33-year-old could see Arsene Wenger's men win the top-flight crown next season.
