Barcelona goalkeeper Neto emerges as a summer transfer target for Everton, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly considering a summer move for Barcelona goalkeeper Neto.

The 23-year-old has been at Camp Nou since 2019 but has only made 17 appearances for the Catalan giants, as he is second choice behind Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks.

Arsenal are believed to be weighing up a swoop for the Brazil international, with the Gunners becoming increasingly frustrated in their pursuit of Sheffield United's Aaron Ramsdale.

According to Sport, there is also genuine interest from Everton, with the Toffees firmly in the running for a player who could be available for a fee in the region of €15m (£12.8m).

The report claims that Villarreal are also in the mix, and Neto would prefer a switch to the Yellow Submarine, where he would likely be first choice.

Everton have already signed a new goalkeeper this summer, bringing Asmir Begovic to Goodison Park on a free transfer, while England's Jordan Pickford is currently the team's number one stopper.
