Calum Chambers to replace Carl Jenkinson at Arsenal?

A report claims that Arsenal will let Carl Jenkinson leave the club, providing that they sign Calum Chambers from Southampton.

Arsene Wenger has reportedly stepped up his pursuit of Southampton defender Calum Chambers.

It's expected that Mathieu Debuchy will soon arrive at the Emirates Stadium, but with Bacary Sagna having departed for Manchester City, Wenger is thought to be keen to add two right-backs to his Arsenal squad.

That has resulted in his interest in Chambers, who was scouted by Wenger's team on numerous occasions last term, according to the Daily Mail.

Should Chambers arrive, the report added that Wenger would allow Carl Jenkinson to depart the club to secure more action elsewhere.
