Arsenal are not prepared to let up on their €20m (£17.1m) valuation of Granit Xhaka, according to a report.
Following the arrival of Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht, Xhaka is expected to secure a permanent exit away from Arsenal this summer.
Jose Mourinho's Roma are reported to be at the head of the queue for the former Borussia Monchengladbach man, who is said to be desperate to secure a move to Serie A.
However, the two sides are yet to come to an agreement over a fee, and Il Tempo claims that the Gunners are standing firm on their €20m (£17.1m) asking price for Xhaka.
There is still optimism that a deal can be done, though, as the report adds that Roma could match Arsenal's asking price after offloading Robin Olsen and Justin Kluivert.
Xhaka's existing Arsenal deal is due to expire in 2023, and he boasts 13 goals and 20 assists from 220 games for the club since arriving five years ago.
