Arsenal target Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic?

Arsenal are interested in signing Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

The 30-year-old is said to have reached a disagreement over a new contract at Stamford Bridge, which has paved the way for the Gunners to make their move.

Manager Arsene Wenger is looking for a centre-back to replace Thomas Vermaelen, who is expected to join Manchester United this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal believe that a fee of £8m could be enough to take Ivanovic to the Emirates Stadium.

However, Chelsea are thought to value the Serbian at £15m.
