Arsenal 'plotting £18m swoop for Antoine Griezmann'

Arsenal are said to be pondering an £18m bid for Real Sociedad striker Antoine Griezmann.

Arsenal are reportedly planning to table a bid for Real Sociedad's £18m-rated striker Antoine Griezmann.

The France international has impressed Gunners scouts throughout the season, and manager Arsene Wenger could be ready to make an offer this summer, the Daily Mail reports.

Griezmann, who has scored 16 goals in La Liga this season, is also said to have attracted interest from Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have also been linked with former Gunners favourite Cesc Fabregas, but could face competition from Manchester United and Manchester City for the Barcelona star.
