Abou Diaby 'in talks with Dallas'

Abou Diaby is reportedly in talks with MLS side Dallas after his release from Arsenal.

Abou Diaby has reportedly held talks with MLS side FC Dallas after being released by Arsenal.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that the Frenchman had left Arsenal following a nine-year spell at the club which is likely to be remembered for his injury problems.

According to The Mirror, Diaby has been offered the chance to begin a new stage of his career with a switch to Texas as clubs bid to sign him on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old was unable to make a competitive appearance for the Gunners last season, and the report suggests that he rejected the offer of a pay-as-you-play deal from Arsene Wenger.

Diaby leaves the Emirates Stadium after playing 182 games for the club.
