Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Arsenal are looking to avoid a fourth successive Premier League defeat for the first time since March 1995 when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The Gunners' top-four hopes have taken a battering following losses to Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City over the past fortnight.

Unai Emery's side are still just two point adrift of a Champions League spot, however, and they have one foot in the final of the Europa League thanks to their 3-1 win over Valencia on Thursday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's visit of Prem strugglers Brighton.

ARSENAL'S INJURY LIST

Aaron Ramsey

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Juventus-bound midfielder Ramsey revealed earlier this week that he has played his final game for the Gunners as a result of the hamstring injury sustained against Napoli last month.

Denis Suarez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Suarez's loan spell from Barcelona has not been a success, and the midfielder confirmed on Monday that he will not play again this season because of a groin injury that has restricted him to just 67 minutes of Premier League football.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Bellerin has been sidelined since early this year and is another player that will not feature again until next season due to a serious knee injury.

Rob Holding

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Holding also damaged his ligaments earlier this season and he too will miss the remainder of the campaign.

Danny Welbeck

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Welbeck has been out with a serious ankle injury since November and, while Emery remains optimistic that the attacker might feature before the end of the campaign, Sunday's match comes too soon for him.

Laurent Koscielny

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Fatigue
Possible return date: May 5 (vs. Brighton)

Koscielny appeared to be struggling with an injury during the second half of Arsenal's win against Valencia and was taken off with 10 minutes to play. Emery revealed after the match that it was mainly down to fatigue after recovering from another injury, adding that he "does not know" if the centre-back will be ready to face Brighton.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Ainsley Maitland-Niles will serve a one-match ban after picking up two yellow cards in last weekend's defeat to Leicester.
