Jack Wilshere close to Arsenal return?

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere could return to training this week after being sidelined for over a year through injury.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere could reportedly return to training this week following a long absence through injury.

The 20-year-old has been sidelined for over a year with persistent ankle and knee problems.

However, he could now join up with the squad when they return from their trip to Montpellier in the Champions League on Wednesday, according to The Mirror.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger recently claimed that the England international was a month away from playing again.
