Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is not concerned with Tottenham Hotspur's position in the Premier League as he is solely focused on Arsenal's campaign.
The North London rivals are challenging for the top four spot, with Harry Redknapp's side currently edging the Gunners with a three-point lead in the league table.
While Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has called on supporters to bet on which side will finish above their rival, Wenger is focused on his own club.
"At the moment Spurs are fighting for the top four like we do," Wenger told the club's official website. "At the end we can both be in the top four, and we will try everything possible to be in front of them. But that is not enough for me.
With or without Tottenham what we want is to be in the top four. That's our target.
"People always make definite conclusions after one game. I saw the [Tottenham-Villa] game on Monday night and they weren't really challenged. There's a long way to go.
"I don't believe we have to focus on Spurs, we have to focus on us improving. It's important that we don't get confused about what we want to achieve. What we want to do is improve and play better."
The Gunners switch their attention to the Champions League this evening when they take on Borussia Dortmund.
