Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out making a move for former striker Thierry Henry during the January transfer window.
Henry currently plays for MLS side New York Red Bulls, but had been linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium during the American close-season.
The 35-year-old returned to his former club at this stage last season, but Wenger confirmed that there won't be a repeat of that this year.
"No [it is not happening]. I think he goes away somewhere," the Arsenal boss said.
"He is not ready, he has just come back from holiday anyway. At the moment we are not on that case."
Henry is the club's all-time leading goalscorer, netting 228 goals in 337 appearances during his time in North London.
