Arsene Wenger says that he will review his position at the Emirates at the end of the season.

Arsene Wenger has hinted that his 15-year reign at the Emirates could come to an end next year.

Speaking to French football publication L'Equipe the 62-year-old stated that he will review his position at the end of the current season.

"What is hard is the feeling something is finishing. For me, we're now talking short term, it's obvious.

"But whether it's with me or someone else, it changes nothing. My successor needs foundations on which he can be successful."

When asked whether he would be in charge next season, Wenger replied: "We'll look at things at the end of this one."

The Frenchman also admitted that losing Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri in the summer was "painful".

"For the first time I lost young players, who were reaching maturity. I suffered. It's painful to lose key men you have invested a lot in," added Wenger.

His side won their tenth game from the last 12 with victory at Norwich earlier on Saturday.
