Arsene Wenger rules out a loan move for Thierry Henry as he believes the striker will remain in the United States.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is not considering a loan move for Gunners legend Thierry Henry.

The 34-year-old has been training with the North London side after the Major League Soccer season came to a close.

While the New York Red Bulls striker has a close relationship with his former club, Wenger is adamant that the Frenchman's future lies in America.

"I have not thought about [a loan deal] at all," said Wenger. "At the moment we have a big squad and anyway, that problem cannot examined before the end of December.

"At the moment we have 26 outfield players so we have a massive squad. Thierry's future is in the States. He is going back in February. Until then we will just help him to practise and keep fit.

"Thierry loves football, and he loves Arsenal. To practise with us for him is a pleasure - for him and for us."

Meanwhile, the Gunners will be traveling to Carrow Road tomorrow to take on Norwich City in the Premier League.
