Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger paid tribute to his team's "mental strength" following Saturday's 2-1 win over Swansea City in the Premier League.

The Gunners fell behind to a 22nd-minute effort from Swansea midfielder Sam Clucas, but turned things around in the second period as goals from Sead Kolasinac and Aaron Ramsey secured all three points.

Arsenal have now won their last three matches after conceding the first goal, and Wenger has claimed that his side "proved people wrong" once again on Saturday afternoon.

"Again we have showed the mental strength to come back and win the game. I'm convinced that we have proved people wrong at Everton, Norwich and today and that can only make the team stronger," Wenger told reporters.

Arsenal currently sit fifth in the Premier League table on 19 points - level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea, but nine off league leaders Manchester City after 10 games of the 2017-18 campaign.
