Arsenal's Theo Walcott "getting stronger every day" following knee injury

Arsenal's Theo Walcott insists that he is "getting stronger" every day after suffering a knee injury four months ago.

Arsenal star Theo Walcott has revealed the extent of his knee injury on Twitter, but has insisted that he is "getting stronger".

The 24-year-old was ruled out of England's World Cup squad this summer after suffering the problem back in January.

Walcott was given a six-month layoff when scans revealed that he had ruptured his cruciate ligament during an FA Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Four months later, Walcott posted an image of his knee on Twitter claiming that he is progressing every day.
