Arsene Wenger's training schedule confuses Arsenal players?

A report claims that the Arsenal squad are struggling to see the logic behind manager Arsene Wenger giving so much time off training.

Arsenal players and coaching staff have reportedly been left baffled by manager Arsene Wenger's decision-making with regards to training.

Having dropped points in recent outings against West Ham United and Crystal Palace, it is believed that the general consensus among the Gunners squad is that certain tactical issues need addressing.

However, The Telegraph claims that Wenger has instead opted to give the players time off, rather than ironing out the problems at the club's London Colney base.

The report adds that the Frenchman told his players to not report for training this morning, despite the fact that they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Palace yesterday afternoon.

It is also reported that the players were given two days off following the 3-3 draw away at West Ham earlier this month.

The Gunners have dropped to fourth in the Premier League, as well as having exited both the Champions League and FA Cup since the turn of the year.
