Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain expecting "tough" Aston Villa test

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits that he is expecting a tough game against high-flying Aston Villa this weekend.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has vowed that Arsenal will go into their game with high-flying Aston Villa with the "belief that [they] will win".

The Gunners have made a slow start to the new season, and they find themselves four points behind Saturday's opponents in seventh place.

England international Oxlade-Chamberlain admits that he is expecting a difficult afternoon at Villa Park, but says that he has full belief in his side's qualities.

"Villa are a good side. It is a nice place to go and play football and we have to be at the required level," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"They will be tough but, if we believe in ourselves as title contenders, we will have to go with the belief that we will win - and that is what we are going to do."

Arsenal follow up this weekend's game with a North London derby meeting against Tottenham Hotspur seven days later.
