Arsenal have reportedly reached an advanced stage of negotiations regarding the potential managerial appointment of Mikel Arteta.
Over the past 48 hours, it has been well documented that the Manchester City assistant has emerged as the favourite to replace Unai Emery at the Emirates Stadium.
While City are looking for a quick resolution, the Arsenal hierarchy allegedly require the Spaniard to go through a prolonged recruitment process before confirming the former midfielder as their new boss.
