Liverpool forward Luis Diaz is forced off with an injury during their Premier League match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has been forced off with an injury during their Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The Colombian picked up what looked like a knee issue during the first half of the contest in North London, initially trying to continue but eventually being taken off.

Diaz was replaced by Roberto Firmino in the 42nd minute, departing with the score at 1-1.

The 25-year-old had earlier chalked up an assist to help level things up at the Emirates, playing the ball across goal for Darwin Nunez to cancel out Gabriel Martinelli's early opener.

Diaz will now undergo scans to determine the extent of the issue, having been spotted leaving the Emirates on crutches and wearing a knee brace.

Martinelli's goal had come inside the first minute for the high-flying hosts, but Liverpool recovered from conceding first for the 10th time in their last 12 league games to control the lion's share of possession before their equaliser.
